Fan Art from a blogTV viewer!

Doing a show at blogTV has been interesting so far. I’ve met some really wonderful people who have eventually become regular viewers of my channel.

One of those people is Michelle, a 20 year old from South Carolina. She actually offered to draw some caricatures and paintings of me - which she said she’ll actually send through the mail sometime next week!

Michelle sent me an email the other day, giving me a preview photo of what she’s been working on. I think it rocks! I can’t wait to see the finished piece.

From what she told me, the canvass for the painting is going to be about 16×12 inches big! Wow.

Let me share some quick comments about 10 things that’s either keeping me busy, on my mind, or influencing/affecting my life right now:

1. blogTV — I’ve been broadcasting live at my very own channel everyday now for the last few days. It’s been a lot of fun. You can find my blogTV link on the right side of the blog, under “johnny’s links”. I’m online everyday (except fridays) from 7pm to 12mn EST. See ya there!

2. YouTube Tag Game — I’ve just been tagged by trebornoican - one of the blog’s regular readers. I’m currently working on my video. Once I finish it I’ll let you know here and put it up in my fan profile page and YouTube channel.

3. Logitech Pro 9000 — One of the best webcams currently out there. I really want one and might actually get one pretty soon. It’ll be worth the $130 price tag. I think it’s finally time to replace my crappy old webcam.

4. Hatsune Miku — My otakuness has somewhat returned after I found out about this Vocaloid character. Damn you Miku and your overly-adorable looks and even cuter voice!

5. Driver’s Handbook — I’m reading the manual whenever I can. I really want to get my license as soon as possible.

6. 2 Jobs and school — So far so good. It’s all about good time management and getting rest whenever I can. My social life will have to be shafted to the backseat for now.

7. Videoblogs — I really want to make more videoblogs; I already have a couple of ideas in my head. As soon as I get a better webcam I’ll record some and post it at Youtube.

8. TRIP/ Radio Show — It was quite a bummer that the show last Wednesday got postponed (Kim wasn’t feeling too well). I actually had planned to bring some gelato over to the station. Oh well..maybe next time.

9. Green Light — John Legend and Andre 3000 . My favourite song right now. I’M READY TO GO RIGHT NOW….!

10. Dating — I really would like to get out there and start to meet new people again. Although I’m still not sure if now’s the right time.

I Got Rants In My Pants!

I need to let off some steam, so I think it’s time for some good ‘ole fashion ranting… ^_^

PETITE GUYS DON’T GET ANY LOVE

It’s so hard for me to find stores that sell clothes my size. See, I wear EXTRA SMALL-sized shirts and about 29-waist pants, 30 length. Unfortunately, not a lot of stores here in Toronto sell these sizes. I know a couple of places that DO sell ‘em like American Eagle, H&M, and Blunotes but I don’t want to fill up my closet with clothes from just these stores. Even finding blazers and suits is so hard for me. I’m about a 32R but I don’t think they make blazers or coats that size, unless I have them custom-made, which is something I really don’t want to do because it’ll cost me 3 ties more. So if you know a store that sells clothes my size..I need your help! =(

CRAPPY DISNEY DVD SEQUELS

Why does Disney keep on releasing straight-to-DVD sequels of their popular titles. Modern classics such as Aladdin, Lion King, Sleeping Beauty, and The Little Mermaid, just to name a few, have all had sequels that went directly to DVD. Now if only the sequels were ON THE SAME LEVEL as the first ones then it wouldn’t be a problem. They’re not. All Disney has done is come up with a lame excuse to milk every single one of their classics for all its worth. Shame on Disney.

NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK

Now I don’t really delve too much into the whole “boy band thing” but I just don’t get why a group from the 80’s suddenly decide to come back almost 20 years later and STILL do those cheesy dance choreography (younger) boy bands are know for (Hint: “Summertime” PV). You’re frickin’ old guys, and some of you already have kids of your own. Keep this in mind: you’re not a BOYband anymore.
