Jennifer gives us two-thumbs up (sort of) all the way from
Las PiƱas City, Philippines.

According to her e-mail, she just came back from a family vacation at Boracay and it’s been a week since she checked up on Friendster and the site.
Thanks for sending this photo, Jennifer. (^_^) v
Robert, currently working in South Korea, sends us his contribution to the site’s Visitor Photo Section. He’s says that he’s originally from Tarlac City and that he’s a pure kapampangan! v(^_^)v Click here to visit his profile page.
On a personal note: I have always admired and respected our OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers). There is nothing harder and more painful than being away from your loved ones. But like Robert and thousands of other Pinoys around the world, these brave men and women chose (sometimes are forced) to work far away from their families, friends, and, of course, from home just to earn a living.
They really are our generation’s new batch of heroes.
Mabuhay ka Kabayan. Mabuhay ka.
A surefire way to let the world know how much of an wota I really am…

FRONT: "I heart J-Pop"

BACK: Utada Hikaru’s ULTRA BLUE album cover.
(Used a webcam to take these. I’m gonna take photos of the shirt again once I get a new digicam this weekend. The Hikki photo looks a lot better and clearer than what you see here. I just couldn’t wait to show you the shirt. ^_^)

I received my very first Idol PB - Aya Ueto’s LAST TEEN photobook - as a gift for my 24th birthday. For those of you who may not know who she is, Aya Ueto is famous for appearing in various TV ads, movies, and dramas in Japan.

Meet my friend Hiromi. She was the one who gave me the photobook. She’s staying here in Toronto for only a few months to study english and experience Western culture by traveling to different places across North America. She said she found the photobook at a used book store in New York and thought I might like it.
I told her that as soon as I get my internet up and running in my apartment I’d make an entry about the PB.I also would like to take this opportunity to thank her for this wonderful gift.

FORGET ABOUT DOWNLOADING PHOTOBOOKS AND SAVING IT TO YOUR COMPUTER. I never thought actually flipping through photos of a Japanese idol would be so much thrilling and fun.
Makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. ^_^
