It’s not everyday you get a chance to meet people who you can truly call your friends. These are the kind of people who not only enjoy your company but also inspire you to become a better person.

Tonight, I got a chance to share a cup of coffee with Taka and Eri. It will be the last time we get to see each other for a while. They’re flying back to Japan tomorrow morning.
Sometimes I wonder why we meet certain people, have a great time being with them, only to be separated in the end. But I’ve realized now that it isn’t important how long (or short) you got to spend with those people. What’s really matters are the moments you shared together. It’s the memories you hold on to and cherish. I will always remember that.
TAKA: Thanks for the stories you told me about your culture and life in Tokyo. You made me want to visit Japan even more. Be sure to read the phrasebook I gave you. I’m going to give you a test the next time we meet. ^___^
ERI: Never stop smiling. It’s one of your best qualities. Taka is a very lucky guy to have someone like you. Don’t forget the photo thing I asked you to do. I’ll be waiting for it. Good luck to you and Taka on your upcoming job search. Let me know what happens, ok?
Until we meet again…
